Tie One On 2009

It's February 5th and we are conducting our third "Tie-One-On" night of the year. Everyone gathers at BJ's Restaurant in Gaylord for some food, drinks and lessons on tying flies that hopefully will catch some fish when the weather gets warm. It's a great way to spend a winter evening and get's you thinking about spring, which is a good thing when the temperature outside hasn't risen over 15 degrees in weeks!






The picture below is Headwaters TU Board Member and master tyer for the evening, Dave Smethurst. Dave set the tone for the evening when he said "I really have a hard time thinking and talking....and tying.....at the same time."
