Hearing in the Pigeon River/Golde Lotus Dam Case

FYI to all Chapter members and all others who may be interested in the outcome of this issue:

There will be a hearing on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 9 a.m. at the circuit court in downtown Gaylord. The court will be hearing motions on the issue of complete dam removal. We are encouraging anyone who is in the area and available on that date to stop by the courthouse and watch the proceedings from the gallery. A strong showing of support would go a long way toward demonstrating to the judge, the State of Michigan, and Golden Lotus that the public is watching this case and is paying attention to how it turns out.
